About Us
For almost 10 years, the mission of Write the World has been to create a global community of teen writers and supportive educators. With the pandemic shifting the entire college admissions landscape, our individualized college essay review services and virtual essay courses give teens an opportunity to authentically navigate every step of the writing process.
Our College Essay Program was incubated at Harvard University and is run by an expert team dedicated to helping students navigate the essay writing process. Our team of educators have 20+ years of combined experience guiding teenagers to write and write well.
We also run writetheworld.org, a free online writing community for teens ages 13–19 from around the world. Since our founding in 2012, we’ve been drawing in over 70,000 young writers with monthly genre competitions, thought-provoking prompts, and the thrill of interacting with other students globally and publishing one’s own work.
